Sarah is a warm and compassionate therapist who believes healing happens through feeling genuinely seen, supported, and connected. She works with teens, college students, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, stress, and relationship challenges. Many clients come to therapy hoping to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, build healthier coping skills, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives.

Sarah values creating a collaborative and nonjudgmental space where clients can safely explore difficult emotions, relationship patterns, and the experiences that may be impacting their wellbeing. She believes therapy is not one-size-fits-all and works to tailor each session to the unique needs, goals, and experiences of every client.

Sarah utilizes a person-centered and trauma-informed approach while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based strategies, relational therapy, and strengths-based interventions. Sarah earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and has over four years of experience working in dual-diagnosis, criminal justice, and adolescent treatment settings. She specializes in supporting clients navigating both mental health and substance use challenges, taking a relational, direct, and compassionate approach that helps clients gain insight, strengthen emotional awareness, and create meaningful change while feeling supported throughout the process.
